Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026  ·  Orlando Photoworks, LLC d/b/a Hartig Labs

🔒 Short version: This tool does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Photos you scan are sent directly to Google's Gemini API for processing and are not retained by us in any way.

1. Who We Are

This privacy policy applies to the Mission BBQ Nightly Protein Tracker ("the Tool"), a web-based utility operated by Orlando Photoworks, LLC, doing business as Hartig Labs, located in Orlando, Florida. We build internal tools and digital solutions for restaurant and service industry operations.

2. What Data This Tool Collects

The Tool is designed to be a lightweight, privacy-respecting utility. Here is exactly what happens with your data:

3. How We Use Information

Because we do not collect personal information, there is nothing to use, sell, share, or process beyond the immediate function of the Tool itself — reading your paper sheet and calculating protein usage totals.

4. Third-Party Services

The photo scan feature uses the Google Gemini API, operated by Google LLC. When you use the scan feature, your image is transmitted to Google's servers for processing. We do not control how Google handles this data on their end. You can review Google's AI data practices at ai.google.dev/terms.

The Tool is hosted on Netlify, operated by Netlify, Inc. Netlify may collect standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages accessed) as part of normal hosting operations. Netlify's privacy policy is available at netlify.com/privacy.

5. Data Retention

We retain no user data. Session data (the numbers you enter) lives only in your browser and disappears when you leave the page. No shift summaries, no photos, and no usage logs are stored by Hartig Labs.

6. Children's Privacy

This Tool is intended for use by adult restaurant staff. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 years of age.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Tool after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
